Some people are just born with an artistic soul; a creative nature that inspires them and drives them to seek out and showcase the beauty in this world. Ericka Edwards is one of those people. An East Saint Louis, Illinois native, who relocated to Huntsville, Alabama when she was 18, Ericka chose Alabama A&M University as her career foundation to feed her creative nature through professionalism and communications.
As as a child, she had always felt the need to create and found her outlets through jewelry making, hairstyling and crafts. After drifting through a few jobs that provided her with little personal satisfaction, Ericka switched gears in 2017 and began looking for a true career that she could excel in, Lash Belle, which is now a staple beauty destination for many of Huntsville’s finest.
In order to provide the best services to her clients, she continues to educate herself. Ericka believes you never stop learning, which is why she completes many hours of continuing education each year. Which is also why she dedicates a portion of her time educating and mentoring upcoming lash artists.
Most importantly, she is truly blessed with a great support system that helps her to achieve her goals. If you ask Ericka why she chose the entrepreneurial path she’d tell you it’s because her children (Zoë and Austin) are her world. She loves the flexibility of contributing to other women’s self love routines and being active in her children’s lives.
